Meet Maribeth

WHO AM I?

I’m a former business executive from the not for profit world, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and the a Career Development Coach.  I created my business after a successful 25 years as part of senior leadership teams at the Modern Language Association and The Society of Nuclear Medicine.  As such, I played a pro-active role in creating and building strong and productive individuals and teams that led to professionals who were successful in their careers. 

WHAT DO I DO?

I am passionate about partnering with business women who find themselves unable to move forward and attain what they want in their careers.  I help them to discover what’s blocking them and to get out of their own way by using a structured process and tools that they can use to break through the barriers holding them back and move forward in their careers.  Through personal coaching and presentations or a combination thereof, I help these bright overachievers discover what they want from their careers.  Once they uncover the barriers to their success, they learn to get out of their own way they are recognized for the leaders they are or can be.  They are able to do more, achieve more and be more.  My clients walk away with personalized tools that they can use when they encounter future obstacles.

HOW DID I START DOING THIS WORK?

When I was still in the non-profit world, I had the opportunity to experience coaching at my workplace.  I was so impressed by how being coached made me a better leader that I decided to pursue coach training at New York University.  I started my coaching business to take what I had learned during my career working with internal and external teams combined with my coach training to help businesswomen overcome the often self-inflicted blocks that were holding them back and discover that there are limitless possibilities in their career, business, and life when they have the right tools and know how to use them.

MARIBETH’S BIOGRAPHY

Maribeth knows that businesswomen often cause their own roadblocks towards becoming successful leaders. Her passion is to use her accumulated knowledge and experience to inspire bright overachievers who often impose their own self-inflicted blocks to success often because they struggle with delegating or trusting their teams to create the same or better results than they can because they feel that if they want anything done the right way they need to do it themselves. 

My clients get to know themselves better, break through these often self-imposed barriers and become the leaders they want to become.  They learn to do more, achieve more and be more and find that the possibilities are limitless in their careers and lives with the right tools used effectively.

Maribeth holds

holds a BA degree from Queens College, City University of New York, an MA in Social and Organizational Behavior from George Washington University, Washington, DC, and is an Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation, the gold standard in the coaching profession.  She also holds professional certifications in Coaching and Career Planning and Development from New York University and is a Certified Career Transition Coach earned from Career Thought Leaders.

She is a member of Career Thought Leaders, the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the ICF-Long Island chapter (formerly known as the Long Island Coaching Alliance) where she currently serves as Past President.  She strictly adheres to ICF’s Code of Ethics and the ICF Core Competencies in her practice.
