I know that when a small business or non-profit wants to host an event for their clients, members, or to fund raise it’s tempting to try to keep things “in house” and do it themselves but it is also a very overwhelming process for someone who has other responsibilities to take care of.
I am a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and a solution and results-oriented meeting executive with over 25 years of experience planning events for non-profit associations. I love putting the pieces of a successful event together and have developed and executed such meetings, ranging from small, intimate subject focused enclaves, to citywide conventions for major non-profit associations.
As a freelance event and meeting producer, my skills and experience allow me to lead, support or supplement your project and your teams’ efforts. I have worked with both internal departments and external entities to help resolve challenges and expedite projects, resulting in positive and effective interactions within a diverse population.
I hold a BA degree from Queens College, City University of New York, and an MA in Social and Organizational Behavior from George Washington University, Washington, DC. I currently live with my husband on Long Island in the Greater Metropolitan Area of New York City. I have passion for the wonderful hospitality profession of which I am a part. I love spending my time enjoying the theater, ballet, the many and varied restaurants, taking Bar Method class and exploring Brooklyn with my son and daughter-in-law.
